As the most awarded design manufacturer in America, we operate the world’s largest 3D print farm right here in the Bay Area. We’re seeking a visionary Lead Designer to elevate our digital and graphic design capabilities, setting the standard for beautiful, user‑centric designs across all our platforms and helping brands and consumers see Gantri as the future of design manufacturing.

Role

We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to shape the future of our software products for brands, consumers, and factory staff. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking and hands‑on expertise with a passion for creating beautiful, user‑centric designs that balance aesthetics and functionality, serving diverse audiences.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver stunning, user‑centered designs that align with Gantri’s aesthetic and functional goals.
  • Develop and implement a cohesive design system to scale across digital platforms: Factory OS (Gantri MES), Gantri Made (Brand + B2B portal), and Gantri Shop (gantri.com).
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate design vision into impactful products.
  • Foster a design‑thinking culture, ensuring user‑centricity drives all product development processes.
  • Establish and track key design metrics to systematically validate design requirements and measure impact.
  • Stay ahead of design trends, tools, and technologies to ensure Gantri’s designs remain fresh, relevant, and competitive.
  • Lead user research to gain insights into user needs, behaviors, and pain points, translating findings into actionable design strategies.
  • Ensure all design projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, UX/UI, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital and graphic design.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing graphic design excellence for user‑centric digital design for consumer‑facing and B2B platforms.
  • Deep expertise in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and motion/graphic design tools.
  • Demonstrated experience building and scaling design systems for complex platforms.
  • Strong ability to lead projects with ambiguous scope and systematically clarify goals, metrics, and deliverables.
  • Exceptional skills in graphic design, proportion, aesthetics, and visual storytelling.

  • Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating design rationale to diverse audiences.
  • Collaborative mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
Why Gantri
  • Be part of a company reimagining how design meets manufacturing.
  • Play a pivotal role in shaping the building blocks of Gantri products.
  • Drive innovation on our next‑generation digital manufacturing platform.
  • Advance sustainable design practices in real‑world production.
  • Work in a fast‑growing, design‑driven environment.
  • Bring visionary concepts to life at scale.
Benefits
  • Competitive salary and equity options.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Paid time off and flexible vacation policy.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match.
  • Professional development opportunities and learning stipend.
  • Collaborative, creative, and sustainability‑focused work environment.
  • Access to Gantri‑designed products and innovation initiative.
