Job summary

Polynae in New York is seeking a senior product designer to own end-to-end storefront experiences, quiz flows, subscription management, and account features that feel human. You’ll partner with our Shopify developer, brand team, and customer relations to design site experiences that ship with real ownership.

This senior IC role requires leading design from concept through implementation, mentoring when needed, and using research and analytics to drive conversion and delightful user journeys.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product design experience with a strong e‑commerce portfolio.
• Fluency in Figma, prototyping tools, and modern design systems.
• Comfort working closely with developers; understands Shopify constraints.
• Experience with user research and conversion‑focused design.
• Ability to own the design function as the sole or senior designer.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design for storefront, quiz, checkout, account, and subscription experiences.
• Run user research and usability testing; turn findings into design decisions.
• Build and maintain the design system in Figma.
• Prototype interactions and partner with the Shopify developer through implementation.
• Use analytics, session replay, and A/B test results to evolve the experience.
• Collaborate with brand and creative on landing pages and campaign experiences.

About the Role

This is a senior IC role for someone who's shipped real product, not just made screens. You'll partner with our Shopify developer, brand team, and customer relations team to design site experiences, quiz flows, subscription management, and account features that feel human. Small team means you'll have real ownership and the work will ship.
