Job description

SENIOR PRODUCT DESIGNER

Employment Type: Full-Time

Experience: 5+ years

Location: Remote (US ONLY)

Cannot offer sponsorship

We’re looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer to take ownership of end-to-end design for a complex B2B platform. This is an opportunity for a designer who enjoys solving challenging problems, shaping product direction, and creating intuitive experiences for professional users.

In this role, you’ll work closely with product leadership, engineering teams, and customers to turn complex requirements into thoughtful, user-centered designs. You’ll have the autonomy to define design solutions, establish best practices, and influence how the product evolves from concept through launch.

This is a domain-heavy B2B product environment involving complex workflows, data-rich interfaces, and rules-driven processes. We’re looking for someone who has owned end-to-end design for a B2B or enterprise product and has a demonstrated ability to make sophisticated workflows accessible and easy to use.

Why You'll Love This Opportunity
  • End-to-End Ownership: Take the lead on design strategy and execution, with the freedom to shape product experiences rather than simply implement predefined specifications.

  • Build and Evolve Design Practices: Establish design processes, critique practices, component libraries, and systems that support consistent, high-quality product development.

  • Solve Meaningful Problems: Work on challenging, data-intensive workflows where thoughtful design can have a direct impact on how users accomplish their goals.

  • Collaborate Directly with Stakeholders: Engage with customers, product leaders, and engineers to understand user needs and influence product decisions.

  • Professional Development: Access opportunities to expand your skills, explore new tools, attend conferences, and continue developing your design expertise.

  • Collaborative Culture: Join a close-knit, cross-functional team that values communication, teamwork, and shared ownership.

  • Competitive Benefits: Enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, along with a company-provided hardware setup and a 401(k) plan.

What You'll Do
  • Own the end-to-end design process, including product architecture, user research, interaction design, and visual design.

  • Translate ambiguous requests and complex business requirements into clear design problems and actionable solutions.

  • Work directly with customers and stakeholders to understand workflows, identify pain points, and advocate for user needs.

  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and iterative design evaluations to continuously improve the product experience.

  • Partner with product leadership and engineering teams to translate product requirements into intuitive, effective user experiences.

  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate and validate design concepts.

  • Develop and maintain a scalable design system, establishing reusable components and patterns as the product evolves.

  • Define and uphold design quality standards, introducing processes that encourage constructive feedback and continuous improvement.

  • Balance user needs, technical constraints, and business objectives to deliver thoughtful, practical design solutions.

What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of UX/UI design experience, with demonstrated ownership of end-to-end design for a B2B or enterprise product.

  • A portfolio showcasing shipped products, complex design challenges, and examples of simplifying dense, data-heavy workflows.

  • Strong proficiency in Figma; familiarity with Adobe XD or Sketch is a plus.

  • Experience designing for both desktop and mobile, with an understanding of how to create effective experiences tailored to each platform.

  • Strong foundations in user-centered design, information architecture, interaction design, and visual design.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain and defend design decisions to stakeholders and customers.

  • A high degree of autonomy and the ability to work from broad objectives rather than fully defined specifications.

  • Experience working in agile, cross-functional environments and collaborating closely with product managers and engineers.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity, balance competing priorities, and make informed design decisions.

  • Experience with Python, JavaScript, or HTML/CSS is a bonus.

Ideal Fit

You’re a thoughtful, proactive designer who enjoys making complex products simpler without compromising usability or visual quality. You’re comfortable taking initiative, exploring unfamiliar domains, and collaborating across teams to bring ideas to life.

You are:

  • Creative: Detail-oriented, with strong design instincts and the ability to create clean, intuitive, and engaging user experiences.

  • Empathetic: Able to understand user perspectives, identify unmet needs, and advocate for solutions that improve their day-to-day workflows.

  • Analytical: A rigorous problem-solver who can break down complex challenges, evaluate trade-offs, and learn new concepts quickly.

  • Entrepreneurial: Comfortable taking ownership, working independently, and contributing in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

  • Collaborative: Enjoy working with diverse teams, communicating openly, and incorporating feedback to achieve shared goals.

  • Organized: Skilled at prioritizing competing demands, managing projects, and delivering high-quality work in ambiguous situations.
