Job summary

BOTE is seeking a design engineering leader to build and scale its product development from ideation to production. You will partner with Industrial Design, Marketing, Product Management, Sales and Operations to deliver concepts through CAD, prototyping, testing and manufacturing readiness.

The role demands hands-on leadership in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and direct collaboration with overseas factories.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing, scaling and launching consumer goods products.
• Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) for product design and engineering docs.
• Hands-on prototyping and performance/durability testing experience.
• Strong knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
• Experience collaborating with overseas factories throughout the product development cycle.

Responsibilities

• Translate consumer insights into new product concepts across BOTE's portfolio.
• Sketch, model and iterate on early concepts to assess form, function and feasibility.
• Develop GD&T drawings, BOMs, and technical docs for manufacturability and production.
