Job summary

Midland Manufacturing, LLC is seeking an experienced Product Design Engineer focused on NPD of fluidic systems. You will lead design initiatives, coordinate regulatory approvals, and ensure thorough documentation from concept to production.

The role requires advanced CAD and analytical skills, plus proven leadership of multi-disciplinary teams in a highly regulated, industrial setting. Travel to manufacturing sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 5+ years in NPD of fluidic systems.
• Experience in valve design; railroad tank car industry with AAR preferred.
• Experience delivering NPD in a highly regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and provide expertise for NPD; coordinate downstream requirements.
• Take ownership of design control and modification activities.
• Ensure compliance with Midland's NPD procedures and documentation.
• Communicate technical information to diverse audiences.
• Lead cross-functional teams including product management and manufacturing.
