Job summary

Bosch Blaj seeks a Mechanical Engineer to drive development of linear systems and actuators, creating 3D solutions and testing equipment. You will evaluate design variants, ensure feasibility, and collaborate across teams to deliver innovative automotive and industrial components.

The role requires project management experience, strong CAD skills (Creo), SAP, and MS Office, with English fluency; German is a plus. Flexible work schedule within Romania is offered, supporting work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics (or comparable qualification).
• Good CAD skills (Creo preferred), SAP knowledge, and strong MS Office proficiency.
• Initial experience in project management and product development processes (PEP); knowledge of DRBFM, FMEA is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize linear systems and actuators for market needs.
• Create 3D solutions and test equipment; design variants and evaluate designs by function, material and cost.
• Lead internal and external product projects in line with specs, costs and timelines; optimize existing products and develop new ones.
• Plan and manage R&D projects, define and run release tests to ensure quality, and generate final documentation.
• Perform calculations and build digital twins for product configurators; collaborate with international teams.

Job Description

• This role involves the creative development and enhancement of linear systems and actuators tailored to market demands.
• The responsibilities include developing 3D solutions for products and testing equipment, designing variants by modifying existing elements, and evaluating design solutions based on functional, material, and economic aspects.
• The position requires carrying out internal and external product projects in line with specifications, costs, and timelines, while also optimizing existing products and developing new ones.
• Key duties involve planning and managing R&D projects, defining and conducting release tests to ensure quality, and creating final documentation.
• The role is also responsible for calculations, creating digital twins for product configurators, and collaborating with international teams.

Qualifications

• Completed studies in Mechanical Engineering / Mechatronics or a comparable qualification.
• Good CAD skills (preferably Creo), SAP skills, and good knowledge of MS Office products.
• Initial experience in project management and the product development process (PEP), as well as knowledge of development methodologies (DRBFM, FMEA, etc.) are advantageous.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, a high degree of initiative, creativity and analytical thinking, goaloriented and methodical work style.
• Advanced English level, German is an advantage.
