Job summary

Based in Hartford, Connecticut, Nassau Financial Group seeks an experienced project leader to manage the end-to-end lifecycle of life, annuity and related product initiatives. You will develop high-level plans, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure on-time delivery within budget, while communicating progress to sponsors and stakeholders.

The role requires 8–10+ years in finance/insurance, strong PM and leadership skills, and the ability to drive collaboration with internal teams,

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years professional experience within a financial industry.
• Excellent project management, organizational, and resource management skills.
• Ability to lead, manage, inspire and motivate diverse individuals.
• Strong problem solving, research and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of regulations at the state and federal level that impact the company’s lines of business.

Responsibilities

• Bring products to market by managing all aspects of the project life cycle from detailed plan development/maintenance, resource management, scope definition and management, change control, through testing and implementation.
• Prepare and manage high level project plans, milestones, target dates to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects within financial budgets.
• Provide regular updates to business sponsors and stakeholders as to the status of work in progress.
• Monitor, engage, hold accountable our third party administrators involved in the support of our product initiatives.
• Create budgets and review/analyze invoices associated with projects.
