Job summary

Salesforce's Slack team seeks a Staff Product Data Analyst to turn data into actionable insights that drive Slack product growth. You will partner with leaders across Product, Engineering, Go-to-Market and other data teams to solve complex problems and influence strategic decisions.

You will also build AI-powered analytics automations to handle routine reporting, enabling focus on high-impact analysis and storytelling to guide teams.

Qualifications

• A related technical degree is required.
• 7+ years of experience applying analytics to solve complex product or business problems.
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one analytics language (Python or R).
• Ability to independently define ambiguous problems, develop analytical approaches, and lead initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead product analytics projects from data modeling to implementation and influence senior stakeholders with concise, executive-ready recommendations.
• Design scalable analytical frameworks and standard product metrics that measure performance and identify trends across teams.
• Build AI-powered analytics and data automations that connect product usage, customer engagement, and business outcomes into actionable workflows.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to design and maintain trusted data models for operational reporting and advanced analytics.
