Job summary

Fresenius Kabi in the United States seeks a Sr. Principal Engineer, Product Cybersecurity, to lead secure development across medical device software and connected platforms.

This role drives security architecture, threat modeling, cybersecurity risk management, DevSecOps, vulnerability management, and regulatory compliance to ensure products are secure and compliant with global standards. Salary Range: $145,000-$155,000 based on experience with a target bonus of 10% of base salary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity or related Engineering is required.
• 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, software engineering, product security, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience applying FDA cybersecurity guidance and ISO/IEC standards in medical device development environments.
• Experience with vulnerability assessment, SBOM governance, threat modeling, and regulatory audits.

Responsibilities

• Guides secure methodologies and improvements for product cybersecurity across IMS and LVP products.
• Develops and implements cybersecure solutions to complex problems across disciplines.
• Plans and performs security testing for new features and defects across software subsystems.
• Leads secure design reviews, defines security requirements, and reviews security architecture.
