Job summary

Fresenius Kabi USA, LLC seeks a Sr. Principal Engineer, Product Cybersecurity to shape secure development across medical device software and connected platforms. You will lead security architecture, threat modeling, risk management, and DevSecOps, guiding teams and driving regulatory-compliant cybersecurity across the product lifecycle.

Salary range is $145,000–$155,000 with a target bonus of 10%. Benefits include 401(k) with company contributions, vacation, health and dental plans, and more.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity or related Engineering is required.
• 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, software engineering, product security, or related technical discipline.
• Experience applying FDA cybersecurity guidance, IEC standards in regulated medical device environments.
• Experience with risk assessments and ISO 14971.
• Experience with vulnerability assessment, SBOM governance, threat modeling.
• Experience enabling FDA submissions and regulatory audits is desirable.
• Experience applying cybersecurity to embedded medical device software and/or web apps.

Responsibilities

• Guide secure methodologies across IMS and LVP medical product cybersecurity.
• Develop and implement cybersecure solutions for complex problems.
• Design, test, and document security of software applications and processes.
• Plan and perform security testing for features and defects across subsystems.
• Lead secure design reviews, requirements, architecture for auth, encryption, cloud security.
