Citigroup Inc. seeks a Senior Lead Counsel I to provide legal guidance and strategic input for Citi's Americas Futures and Derivatives Clearing business in New York. You will interpret laws, advise on risk, and support business decisions with practical, commercially minded solutions.

The role requires a proactive attorney with deep regulatory knowledge, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to collaborate across global teams while upholding the firm’s reputation and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate or equivalent required.
• Bar license in good standing to practice law.
• 7–10+ years of relevant industry experience in financial services.
• Familiarity with CFTC, NFA, exchange and clearinghouse rules.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel to the business and advise on strategic initiatives.
