Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Senior Cost Analyst to help build and maintain robust costing processes across our supply chain operations at West Chester. You will partner with Finance, Manufacturing, and Engineering to streamline part cost accumulation and reporting, ensuring timely, accurate cost flow for inventory valuation and performance reporting.

The role requires strong cost accounting background, 3–5 years of experience, and advanced Excel skills with the ability to communicate costing

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience) with a strong cost accounting foundation.
3–5 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing/supply chain environment.
Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical/problem-solving capability.
Ability to communicate complex costing topics clearly to finance and non-finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Review and oversee shop-level costing activities for assigned supply chain shops to ensure accurate costing in line with inventory costing practices.
Research inventory valuation swings and cost movements; identify drivers and communicate explanations to finance managers and stakeholders.
Provide ongoing monthly support to shop finance teams connecting operating results to cost and inventory transactions.
