Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Senior Product Associate for Employee Platforms within ENTERPRISE TECHNOLOGY. You will shape and deliver enterprise collaboration capabilities that enable secure engagement with clients and partners, translating stakeholder needs into a prioritized backlog and measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in product, platform, or technology delivery roles supporting SaaS collaboration and/or enterprise IT services.
  • Ability to write high-quality user stories and manage a prioritized backlog in Jira and/or Azure DevOps.
  • Working knowledge of external identity and access concepts (e.g., Microsoft Entra ID B2B or equivalent federation/guest models).
  • Familiarity with modern authentication and authorization patterns (e.g., OAuth 2.0, tokens, consent, app permissions).
  • Ability to analyze adoption and support data to propose prioritization changes and define success metrics (MAU/WAU, ticket drivers, satisfaction).
  • Proven stakeholder management skills, including aligning diverse groups on scope, trade-offs, and delivery timelines using clear, inclusive language.
  • Strong collaboration skills across engineering, information security, compliance, and risk partners to deliver controlled, supportable solutions.
  • Understanding of release readiness fundamentals (UAT, change management, communications, training readiness, operational handoffs).
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills suitable for executive updates, working sessions, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Drives roadmap execution for external collaboration capabilities, aligning outcomes to measurable KPIs (e.g., adoption, active usage, NPS/CSAT, incident trends).
  • Translates stakeholder needs into clear epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria with testable, auditable requirements.
  • Maintains a well-prioritized backlog using data signals (support tickets, usage analytics, risk findings, delivery throughput) to inform sequencing.
  • Partners with engineers to clarify technical designs, dependencies, and non-functional requirements (security, performance, resilience, scalability).
  • Coordinates UAT planning and execution, ensuring entry/exit criteria, defect triage, and release readiness are tracked and transparent.
  • Evaluates vendors and platform features by defining comparison criteria, documenting trade-offs, and supporting governance and procurement workflows.
  • Enables secure external access patterns by collaborating on identity and access controls, authentication flows, and entitlement models.
  • Monitors operational health by reviewing incidents, performing root-cause follow-ups, and tracking reliability metrics (e.g., MTTR, recurrence rate).
  • Facilitates agile rituals (stand-ups, refinement, sprint planning, retrospectives) and improve delivery metrics (cycle time, predictability, backlog hygiene).
  • Documents product decisions, controls, and user guidance to support auditability, supportability, and consistent stakeholder communications.
  • Champions a security-by-design and inclusive user experience mindset, balancing usability with policy, regulatory, and data-protection requirements.

As a Senior Product Associate - Employee Platforms in ENTERPRISE TECHNOLOGY, you help shape and deliver enterprise collaboration capabilities that enable secure engagement with clients and partners. You work inclusively with stakeholders across lines of business and functions to translate needs into a prioritized backlog, clear user stories, and measurable outcomes. You partner closely with engineering, security, compliance, and vendor teams to improve reliability, user experience, and governance for platforms such as Slack (including Slack Connect) and adjacent external collaboration services. You bring product discipline, technical curiosity, and a metrics-driven mindset to continuously improve adoption, operational health, and control effectiveness.

  • Familiarity with scripting or automation (PowerShell and/or Python) to support lightweight reporting, workflow improvement, or operational tasks.
  • Experience with monitoring/observability concepts and tooling to track adoption and reliability (dashboards, alerting, trend analysis).
  • Participation in vendor assessments (RFP/RFI inputs, feature validation, security questionnaires) and documenting comparison outcomes.
  • Relevant certifications or training (e.g., Scrum/Agile, Product Owner, ITIL fundamentals, security/privacy basics).
