Job summary

Chase is seeking a Senior Product Associate to drive product development for customer onboarding. You will collaborate with Product Managers, conduct user research, and leverage metrics to shape innovative features and improve existing offerings.

You will document requirements, create epics and user stories, and work with multi‑disciplinary teams to deliver on a roadmap for the firm and its customers.

Qualifications

As a Senior Product Associate in Becoming a Customer, you contribute to the team by leveraging your expertise in product development and optimization to make a significant impact, supported by user research and customer feedback to fuel the creation of innovative products and continuously improve existing offerings. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products and ongoing success.
You will work closely with Product Managers to help deliver unique, creative solutions across our account opening journeys. You will participate in working sessions to document requirements and clearly communicate needs to co-suppliers, aligned to a roadmap of exciting new features for the firm and our customers. Candidates with a curious mindset, strong attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills will be a great fit.

Job Responsibilities

• Partners with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discovery
• Considers and plans for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience
• Supports the collection of user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap and provide insight on potential product features that provide value to customers
• Analyzes, tracks, and evaluates product metrics including work to time, cost, and quality targets across the product development life cycle
• Writes the requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development
• Leads day-to-day delivery execution for account opening solutions, partnering closely with the Product Manager and cross-functional teams to drive progress through to completion
• Maintains team delivery hygiene, including backlog refinement support, sprint ceremonies, and dependency tracking across partners
• Supports the completion of coordination and testing activities across partners and monitors adherence to the firm's risk, controls, compliance, and regulatory requirements
• Tracks project progress against the documented plan, identifying any deviations and reporting them to the Product Manager
• Documents meeting outcomes, decisions, and action items, and drives timely follow-ups to close open items

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

• 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
• Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle
• Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition
• Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy
• Strong organizational skills to track action items, owners, and due dates across multiple workstreams
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in project documentation and deliverables
• Strong email management skills, including organizing inbound requests, documenting key takeaways and decisions, tracking open items, and driving timely follow-ups to close loops with stakeholders
• Ability to manage competing priorities, triage inbound requests, and surface blockers and dependencies early
• Ability to maintain clear, up-to-date documentation (e.g., decision logs, requirement summaries, and stakeholder updates) in a shared repository to keep teams aligned

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

• Experience working in an agile delivery environment with a feature team, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
• Experience using Jira, Align, Microsoft Excel, Confluence, Outlook, and approved AI tools and agents
• Experience coordinating with external partners and co-suppliers, including documenting asks, outcomes, and next steps to reduce ambiguity
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex discussions into concise written summaries for stakeholders.
