Job summary

Novellia is hiring a Senior Product Analytics Engineer to partner with product and growth teams in New York City or Remote. You will define what good product analytics looks like, back into event tracking and data models, and build reliable infrastructure to power decision-making.

You will lead analytics efforts around engagement, retention, and activation, collaborate with clinicians in data domains, and own the standard for instrumenting and measuring product analytics within the company.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in analytics engineering or a closely related data role.
• Experience at a consumer-facing company understanding growth metrics.
• Strong SQL and dbt skills; solid data modeling capabilities.
• Hands-on experience with Mixpanel and working with engineers on event tracking.
• Proven track record partnering with product managers and designers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the data partner for product and product design, joining roadmaps and scoping features.
• Own product analytics instrumentation, audit tracking, and close gaps with engineering.
• Build and maintain dbt models supporting product, growth, and operational reporting.
• Design and maintain dashboards and self-serve tools for PMs and leadership.
• Drive engagement, retention, and activation insights to inform product decisions.
• Identify leading indicators of product-market fit and track them over time.
• Build scalable data pipelines across the product and user data scope.
• Collaborate with analytics engineers who own clinical and research data.
• Proactively surface data quality issues and establish trust in data.
