Job summary

Nextdoor is seeking a Product Finance professional to drive growth through data-driven insights and forecasting. You will interrogate data, build dashboards, and guide product strategy by delivering actionable insights to senior leadership.

You will collaborate with product, analytics engineering, and engineering teams to own metrics reporting, neighbor engagement, and revenue opportunities, while maintaining a bias toward actionable outcomes and AI-enabled tooling.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of relevant experience in analytical/strategic roles such as investment banking, consulting, business operations, or analytics at a fast-paced tech company.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to convey complexity to a broad audience including C-Suite.
• Experience formulating, running, and sharing analyses with strategic business impact (time series, cohort retention, forecasting).
• Ownership mindset: autonomous, capable of handling ambiguity and aligning data questions with business context.
• Working knowledge of Python and data-science tools; BI/dashboarding experience with Looker is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the broader F&S team and ProdDev to solve analytical problems that impact the product roadmap and KPIs.
• Deliver data insights through dashboards, self-serve reporting, memos, and presentations.
• Lead portions of quarterly outlook forecasting for user growth, engagement, and revenue opportunities.
• Assist and present in weekly performance tracking and operational reporting.
• Support analytics foundation from metrics definition to automation and debugging with Analytics Engineering.
• Collaborate with data science, product, and engineering to improve data robustness.
