Job summary

American Express is seeking a Senior Associate - Product Analytics to oversee the governance and performance of enterprise-wide models, with emphasis on Gen AI. You will help elevate model quality, drive business impact, and ensure compliance with evolving standards.

You will collaborate with analytics teams, risk and product stakeholders to translate insights into actions that enhance customer experiences while maintaining strict risk controls.

Responsibilities

• Direct oversight of enterprise-wide models with emphasis on Gen AI and AI-based models for marketing, credit, fraud or other business/risk types.
• Direct gap assessments and outline robust structure to strengthen model risk controls and meet enhanced regulatory guidelines.
• Direct AI/ML research to explore opportunities to lift model quality and drive business impact.
• Communicate results to partners, senior management and various model councils.
• Understand applied effectiveness, hypothesis and approach, purpose/use of predictive models.
• Increase business returns by developing effective and accurate models.
• Advance modeling methodologies and feature development.
• Ensure modeling accuracy and improve development efficiency in existing processes using AI.
