The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.

Description

We are seeking a highly organized, motivated, detail-oriented Senior Product Analyst to join the Vendor Relationships & Solutions team in Personal Lines Auto Product. In this role you will be responsible for supporting the third-party data strategy, focusing on vendor performance and expense management. The ideal candidate has experience leveraging data sources to provide actionable insights, build business cases to support strategic decisions, and present findings to leadership teams across the organization. Support for ad hoc data analysis is also expected for this role.

Key responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Evaluate vendor performance and identify trends and data-driven insights to support decision-making for contract negotiations, vendor selection, and new product exploration
  • Develop and build reporting across key metrics, KPIs, and SLAs to ensure contract compliance and identify areas for improvement
  • Make recommendations to increase value of utilized vendor services, working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and partners to deploy initiatives
  • Partner with Finance to manage vendor expenses through regular planning, forecasting, and analyzing variances
  • Review the accuracy of vendor invoices, reconciling service costs against internal monitoring, contract terms, and communicating with vendors and internal partners to resolve discrepancies

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Familiarity with Personal Lines insurance products (knowledge of insurance data solutions a plus)
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis software (e.g., SAS, SQL, Snowflake)
  • Experience with creating Power BI dashboards preferred
