Job summary

Monarch Money is seeking a senior product analyst to join our data team. You will own how we measure the product, set experimental rigor, and learn from user behavior to drive conversion and retention.

You will collaborate with growth, product, and engineering to enable data-driven decisions. You will design and analyze experiments, partner with product and engineering on feature launches, and build and optimize data pipelines while automating recurring workflows.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a product analyst role, preferably at a growth-stage company.
• Advanced knowledge of statistical methodologies for A/B testing.
• Curious and comfortable with ambiguity; balance speed and accuracy when solving problems.
• Translate requirements for technical and non-technical partners; explain topics clearly.
• Proficient in SQL with advanced features like window functions.
• Experience with a modern analytics stack: Amplitude, Statsig, Snowflake, DBT, Hex, Omni.
• AI fluency; know when to leverage AI without introducing errors.

Responsibilities

• Own A/B test design, analysis, and provide conclusions and recommendations.
• Lead experimentation loop with growth; prioritize ideas and measure opportunities.
• Analyze user behavior and investigate anomalies affecting the business.
• Define measurement for upcoming feature launches and ensure proper tracking.
• Provide data-driven insights to leadership and the broader company.
• Automate recurring workflows without sacrificing insight quality.
• Build datasets and data pipelines; maintain and update data infrastructure.
