The Senior Product Analyst helps product teams make data-informed, market-aware, user-centered, and financially grounded decisions across cellular therapy, service, software, and platform products. Embedded in the Product organization, this role partners with Product Managers, Product Owners, UX, Operations, Technology, Analytics, Finance, Commercial, and other cross-functional stakeholders to clarify needs, assess opportunities, shape product decisions, support go-to-market readiness, and measure outcomes that improve product performance and advance mission impact.
The Senior Product Analyst brings a product mindset: translating ambiguity into clear options, evaluating customer needs, market opportunity, operational feasibility, financial implications, current-state processes, and product or platform capability fit, and turning evidence into recommendations that improve customer experience, operational effectiveness, financial performance, and measurable business value. This role supports product work from discovery and opportunity assessment through product development, requirements and backlog readiness, launch readiness, adoption measurement, and ongoing optimization.
Specific emphasis will vary by product line; all Senior Product Analysts are expected to bring strong product thinking, analytical judgment, customer orientation, and evidence-based recommendation development. This role is ideal for a senior analyst who wants to use product thinking, data, market insight, and operational understanding to improve products that support the organization’s mission to save lives through cellular therapy.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Product Discovery, Market & Opportunity Analysis:
- Partner with Product Managers, Product Owners, UX, Operations, Technology, and other stakeholders to clarify business objectives, customer problems, user needs, operational pain points, desired outcomes, and market opportunities.
- Analyze customer and stakeholder feedback, journey data, operational data, service interactions, utilization patterns, market signals, and business processes to identify growth opportunities, risks, unmet needs, and whitespace for product development.
- Translate broad or ambiguous business questions into structured hypotheses, assumptions, risks, decision points, analytical approaches, and practical measurement options.
- Conduct opportunity sizing, impact assessment, and value analysis to inform product strategy, roadmap trade-offs, prioritization decisions, and product-line investment discussions.
- Support financial analysis for product opportunities, including revenue potential, cost drivers, pricing considerations, margin implications, benefit hypotheses, investment trade-offs, and business case inputs.
- Partner with Product, Finance, Commercial, Operations, Analytics, and Technology partners to evaluate product performance, demand signals, revenue growth opportunities, and cross-product or portfolio implications.
- Translate market, financial, operational, and performance insights into recommendations that inform product strategy, product development, roadmap priorities, go-to-market planning, lifecycle decisions, and trade-off decisions.
- Support product foresight by monitoring emerging customer needs, industry trends, regulatory considerations, technology shifts, competitive dynamics, and evolving product opportunities.
Product, Process & Platform Fit Analysis:
- Analyze current-state processes, service interactions, workflows, and product or platform capabilities to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, compliance considerations, manual workarounds, experience gaps, and simplification opportunities.
- Develop future-state recommendations that balance customer and user needs, business outcomes, operational realities, product strategy, service model considerations, and available platform capabilities.
- Evaluate needs against product, process, service, and platform capabilities to determine where workflow changes, configuration, product iteration, or custom development are appropriate.
- Lead or contribute to fit-gap analysis, decision framing, and recommendations for Product, UX, Architecture, Technology, Operations, and Commercial partners.
Product Requirements, Design Inputs & Delivery Enablement:
- Translate discovery insights, process analysis, customer needs, market and financial considerations, and product capability decisions into product requirements, design inputs, decision records, go-to-market inputs, acceptance criteria inputs, functional notes, test scenarios, or backlog-ready inputs, as appropriate for the product type.
- Develop artifacts as required for the product development need, such as. workflows, journey maps, service models, product requirements, dashboards, user stories, acceptance criteria inputs, and insights summaries—to support discovery, stakeholder alignment, product design, user feedback, delivery readiness, and decision-making.
- Inform work definition and backlog readiness by ensuring product requirements or stories are grounded in customer needs, product outcomes, data evidence, process understanding, financial considerations, and product capability realities.
- Support trade-off discussions, testing, and validation by framing value, feasibility, risk, user impact, operational impact, compliance considerations, dependencies, acceptance criteria, test scenarios, and measures of successful delivery.
Go-to-Market, Adoption & Product Performance:
- Support go-to-market readiness by synthesizing customer needs, value propositions, positioning inputs, launch assumptions, adoption risks, revenue considerations, and success measures.
- Partner with Product, Customer Experience Activation, Marketing, Operations, Training, Change Management, Finance, and Analytics partners to align launch plans, adoption strategies, feedback loops, revenue assumptions, and performance measures.
- Track adoption, utilization, revenue performance, customer feedback, workflow outcomes, benefit realization, operational performance, and product health after launch.
- Translate product performance data and feedback into insight narratives, learning agendas, and recommendations for next-best actions and continuous improvement.
Product Lifecycle, Practice Maturity & Continuous Improvement:
- Help standardize analytical practices, measurement approaches, discovery artifacts, fit-gap methods, and insight storytelling across product teams as the product model matures.
- Lead complex or cross-product analyses influence roadmap prioritization, portfolio discussions, product-line decisions, lifecycle optimization, and investment trade-offs.
- Mentor or coach analysts and product partners in product analytics, insight development, process analysis, measurement design, and evidence-based decision-making.
- Stay current on relevant products, analytics, AI, platform, and industry capabilities; proactively identify how emerging practices, tools, or platform innovations can improve outcomes or accelerate value.
- Evaluate AI-generated insights, recommendations, summaries, or design concepts for accuracy, relevance, bias, privacy, and appropriate use.

- Product analytics, performance measurement, outcome-based measurement, benefit realization, and product-level metrics used to assess adoption, value, financial performance, and product health.
- Market analysis, competitive assessment, product positioning, product economics, revenue growth, business case development, investment trade-off evaluation, and prioritization methods used across the product lifecycle.
- Product discovery, customer and stakeholder research synthesis, journey mapping, service or process analysis, problem framing, opportunity assessment, and product development across cellular therapy, service, software, and platform products.
- Business process redesign, fit-gap analysis, future-state workflow development, service model evaluation, and translating current-state complexity into simplified product, service, or platform recommendations.
- Agile and product delivery practices, including product requirements, work definition, user stories, acceptance criteria, backlog refinement, validation, testing, and product review cadences where applicable.
- Insight storytelling and recommendation development for technical, non-technical, product, operational, commercial, and senior leadership audiences.
- Modern analytics, visualization, collaboration, prototyping, and AI-assisted tools used to accelerate analysis, synthesis, scenario modeling, and product decision-making.
