What we’re looking for
We’re seeking a strategic, detail-oriented Senior Product (Web) Analyst with a passion for experimentation, user behavior insights, and scalable analytics infrastructure to join Custom Ink’s Data & Analytics team. In this high-impact role, you’ll partner with cross-functional teams to uncover actionable web insights, drive optimization strategies through testing, and enhance our digital performance reporting. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, technically fluent, and energized by improving both how we measure success and how teams engage with data.
- 6+ years of experience in digital or ecommerce analytics, with a strong track record of influencing product or marketing decisions through web data.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Proven experience designing and analyzing A/B and multivariate tests, including hypothesis development, segmentation, and test interpretation.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL for data extraction and transformation; experience with BigQuery or Redshift environments preferred.
- Familiarity with statistical languages (R or Python) to support exploratory analysis or model-building initiatives.
- Deep knowledge of Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager, including tagging strategy, data layer implementation, and reporting accuracy.
- Experience building or contributing to automated, scalable reporting tools using platforms such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Hands-on experience working with incomplete or unstructured datasets and developing governance or documentation to ensure trusted reporting.
- Experience interpreting statistical significance and uncertainty in test results.
- Ability to design scalable processes for test execution and insight sharing.
- Demonstrated ability to enable data access and literacy across teams through training, documentation, or internal tool adoption strategies.
- Proven ability to collaborate as a strategic thought partner with marketing, product, and UX teams—bringing data-driven hypotheses and framing testing opportunities that guide business decisions.
- Familiarity with testing platforms such as Optimizely (web or full stack), and experience defining experimentation roadmaps.
Compensation
We are committed to providing pay transparency and equitable compensation.
- The annual base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $160,000 plus a performance bonus targeted at 5% of base salary, tied to individual/company performance and continued retention. Placement within the range is determined by knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.

What you’ll do

- Lead hypothesis generation and define, design, and iterate testing opportunities.
- Analyze test results to understand user behavior and reasons behind observed outcomes.
- Monitor key web metrics and site health signals; implement tools or dashboards to surface risks or opportunities.
- Own tagging strategy and QA processes to ensure reliable web data infrastructure.
- Perform exploratory analysis to generate insights and recommendations across business areas.

As a Senior Product (Web) Analyst, you’ll deliver insights, shape experimentation strategies, and help teams ask smarter questions. Collaborating with Product, UX, Marketing, Merchandising & Engineering, you’ll work to improve site and product performance, support optimization efforts, and uncover opportunities for website improvements. This role reports to the VP of Analytics.
