WBUR Podcasts in Boston is seeking a Senior Producer to lead our department’s creative work, from producing Endless Thread to developing, piloting, and launching new shows and limited series.

You will collaborate with a talented team of editors and sound designers, research fascinating topics, book guests, write episode titles and scripts, meet deadlines, mentor junior producers, and explore AI tools to sharpen the craft for our global audience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent/relevant experience and 5+ years of experience.
• Strong planning and project management across multiple stakeholders.
• Team player with creativity, collegiality, and attention to detail.
• Extensive knowledge of audio storytelling and podcast platforms.
• Proficiency with Adobe Audition, Pro Tools and Descript.

Responsibilities

• Lead WBUR Podcasts' creative output, including Endless Thread.
• Develop, pilot, and launch new shows and limited series.
• Research topics, book guests, and coordinate writing and scripting.
• Collaborate with producers and sound designers on deadline-driven projects.
