Job summary

Baltimore Public Media (WYPR 88.1 FM and WTMD 89.7 FM) is seeking an experienced Digital Producer to lead production, publication, and distribution of content across digital platforms. You will manage podcast workflows, newsletters, websites, apps, and social channels, partnering with News, Music, Programming, Podcasts, Underwriting, and Operations.

You will mentor the Digital Associate Producer, edit multimedia content, and ensure journalism and programming reach broad audiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in journalism, including 3 years in a multi-media news environment with demonstrated skill managing social feeds for news and breaking news.
• Familiarity with AP style and print editing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production, publication, and distribution of content across digital platforms.
• Direct the Digital Associate Producer and collaborate with content creators.
• Lead editorial oversight for digital news, music, podcast, and event content.
• Coordinate workflows across News, Music, Programming, Podcasts, and Events.
