Independents Group in Los Angeles is seeking an Executive Producer to provide senior production leadership for the agency’s high-profile client experiences. You will own the production approach from concept to post-event review, leading cross-functional teams with autonomy and strategic client partnership.

The role encompasses strategic direction, budget oversight, and delivering exceptional business impact across runway shows, galas, and brand activations.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading large-scale fashion, luxury, or high-profile brand events.
• Demonstrated success owning complex productions from strategic development through execution.
• Strong executive presence and experience managing senior client relationships.
• Advanced leadership skills with the ability to direct cross-functional teams and mentor producers.
• Deep expertise in budgeting, vendor strategy, negotiation, and operational planning.
• Willingness to travel internationally and support onsite execution.

Responsabilités

• Lead the overall production strategy for large-scale events.
• Shape production approaches aligning creative ambition, client objectives, operational feasibility, and commercial outcomes.
• Oversee multiple workstreams ensuring consistency, quality, and excellence across projects.
• Establish scalable planning, briefing, execution frameworks for the broader production function.
• Drive high standards in delivery, team performance, and client experience across the portfolio.
• Serve as the senior production lead and primary strategic point of contact for clients.
• Build trusted client relationships and provide high-level counsel throughout the event lifecycle.
• Lead complex conversations around scope, priorities, tradeoffs, and execution strategy.
• Anticipate client needs and develop proactive solutions that elevate the overall experience.
• Represent the agency with authority, credibility, and sound judgment in high-stakes environments.
• Lead cross-functional teams across creative, technical, and production disciplines.
• Provide direction, support, and decision-making that enables teams to deliver at a high level.
• Mentor and elevate producers and project teams through strong leadership and clear expectations.
• Ensure alignment across regions, stakeholders, and delivery partners.
• Own event budgets and provide senior oversight on financial planning, forecasting, and reconciliation.
• Make final decisions on key production partners, venues, and external resources.
• Lead or approve high-value negotiations with vendors, venues, and talent.
• Balance cost discipline with creative impact and client expectations.
• Drive innovation by identifying emerging trends in fashion, culture, and experiential design.
• Introduce best practices, technologies, and production improvements that strengthen the agency’s market position.
• Ensure all productions meet the highest standards for safety, logistics, brand integrity, and guest experience.
