Job summary

KTVB, the TEGNA-owned NBC affiliate in Boise, ID, seeks a Senior Producer to lead storytelling across streaming and broadcast. You will manage editorial priorities, mentor producers, and supervise day-to-day newsroom operations while driving investigative and enterprise reporting.

You will coordinate with editors and creative teams to deliver on-air and digital content, meeting deadlines and elevating coverage with compelling graphics and contextual storytelling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in journalism, communications, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of news content experience.
• Top-notch communication skills and solid journalistic judgement.
• Understanding of professional journalism tenets and community engagement.
• Strong social media presence and ability to manage live news situations.

Responsibilities

• Establish editorial priorities for major coverage, projects and streaming initiatives.
• Lead and coach producers and digital producers; mentor newsroom talent.
• Plan big stories, pitch deep dive angles, and develop long-form enterprise content.
• Guide editorial decision-making and ensure timely, high-quality storytelling.
• Lead field production for special projects and coordinate cross-platform content.
