Exposure is a creative communications agency founded in 1993. Built on the power of network, our mission is to make brands culturally relevant and connect audiences across channels. We work with some of the largest and best-known brands in the world, including New Balance, Dr. Martens, L’Oréal, Under Armour, LEGO and Coca-Cola, and we’re looking for entrepreneurial, dynamic, passionate, hardworking and creative individuals to join our growing team.
The Role
Exposure is hiring a Senior Producer to lead our experiential and event work. We’re looking for someone seasoned who has run large events on their own and can take full ownership of a project: the client, the budget and the production, from start to finish. You’ll manage several brands at once, including global sportswear and lifestyle clients, travel to be on-site wherever the work is, and be the person clients and our team count on to get it done. Our work often mixes events with content, so if you can flex between the two (or want to learn), that’s a big plus.
Responsibilities:
Event Production
- Lead events and brand activations from start to finish with minimal oversight, often across multiple accounts at once.
- Scout, book and contract venues and locations, manage permits and organize site visits with suppliers.
- Manage the build, including fabrication, tech, and dressing and styling, through to take-down, storage and disposal.
- Hire and manage the freelance producers and event staff on your projects.
- Know your way around floor plans, site maps, health and safety, and insurance, and give final sign-off on-site.
- Keep our supplier and venue lists up to date.
Creative
- Work with our creative team from the brief stage so ideas are exciting, doable and right for the budget.
- Review designs for feasibility and cost, and make sure what’s built on-site matches what was sold in.
- Be the main day-to-day production contact for clients, leading calls, presentations and updates.
- Manage expectations with confidence and polish, including scope changes and tough conversations.
- Build senior client relationships where clients value your input, and review each event with them afterward so the next one is even better.
Budgets & Finance
- Write and own production budgets and fee estimates that match the real scope of the work and run to margin.
- Get competitive bids and negotiate with suppliers for the best rates.
- Raise POs, manage billing and follow up on payments, following each client’s procurement process.
- Report on budgets and billing weekly, and reconcile every project when it wraps.
Growing the Business
- Spot opportunities to grow existing accounts and bring in new business leads.
- Help write and present pitches and new business presentations.
- Make sure every event is photographed and filmed for client recaps and our portfolio.
What You Bring
- 8+ years of production experience with a strong focus on events and experiential, at an agency, production company or brand.
- Currently working at Senior Producer level or above.
- Experience leading large events on your own, with examples you can share.
- Strong, polished client skills. You’re confident with clients, a good listener, and calm when things get tough.
- Strong financial skills, from writing budgets and fee estimates to running projects to margin.
- Commercially sharp, with experience growing accounts or winning new business.
- Resilient under pressure, with tight deadlines and several brands on the go.
- A pleasure to work with: positive, open to ideas and good at delegating.
- Sportswear, athletic or lifestyle brand experience is a plus.
- Content production experience is a bonus. A willingness to learn counts too.
- Able to travel often, including internationally, and work evenings and weekends around events.
