Job summary
Openkrill is seeking a consultant to drive procurement transformation for clients, focusing on source-to-pay improvements, sourcing events, and transportation/logistics optimization. You will analyze spend, develop strategies, and lead carrier bids while collaborating with leadership to shape transformation roadmaps.
Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of consulting in procurement, strong data analytics, and proficiency with Power BI and Lucid.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional services consulting experience; Big 4 or top-tier background preferred.
- Direct experience executing transportation and logistics sourcing incl. FTL/LTL/intermodal.
- Knowledge of strategic sourcing, category management, and procure-to-pay processes.
Responsibilities
- Support procurement transformation projects across Source-to-Pay and analytics.
- Lead strategic sourcing events, RFPs, bid evaluations, and business-case development.
- Lead transportation sourcing engagements and carrier bid processes.
- Guide client freight strategy including mode optimization and cost reduction.
- Identify procurement improvements and align with finance and accounting.
- Develop data-driven business cases for transformation programs.
- Assist with AI-enabled client solutions and data protection compliance.
- Stay informed on emerging AI tools and firm-approved usage.
