Job summary

EY’s Supply Chain and Operations practice is seeking a Senior Manager to help clients unlock measurable value through procurement category management, strategic sourcing and cost transformation. You will shape and lead complex, multi-category programs—from opportunity assessment and value-case development through sourcing execution, implementation and benefit realization.

In this role, you will work with CPOs, finance leaders, business stakeholders and suppliers, combining procurement expertise

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, finance, engineering, economics or a related field.
• Seven or more years of relevant procurement experience including meaningful consulting and leadership experience.
• Experience shaping, selling and delivering complex procurement engagements across multiple categories.
• Demonstrated success in opportunity assessment, value-case development, category strategy, sourcing execution, implementation and benefit realization.
• Experience leading teams and working with senior Procurement, Finance and business leaders.
• Willingness and ability to travel based on client and engagement needs.

Responsibilities

• Shape and sell procurement transformation, category management, strategic sourcing and cost takeout engagements.
• Lead spend and opportunity assessments, develop value cases, prioritize categories and create executable sourcing roadmaps.
• Direct category strategy, market and supplier analysis, sourcing events, negotiations, contracting support, implementation and value tracking.
• Mobilize and lead complex programs, including governance, workplans, resources, risks, engagement economics and executive reporting.
• Build alignment across Procurement, Finance and business teams while balancing cost, service, quality, resilience, innovation and risk.
• Apply spend analytics, contract analytics, market intelligence, scenario modeling and AI-enabled procurement capabilities with appropriate controls.
• Develop client relationships, market offerings, thought leadership and account opportunities.
• Coach and develop high-performing, inclusive teams across pursuit and delivery.
