Job summary

The Procurement Analyst Senior at Maricopa County Community College District leads district-wide procurement efforts, negotiating high-dollar contracts and overseeing major purchases such as IT equipment, software, and services.

Reporting to the Procurement Supervisor, the role manages bid processes, contract administration, and vendor relationships to ensure compliance and value for the district.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or public administration, supply chain, finance or related field with 5 years of procurement experience.
• 5+ years of professional-level procurement, supply chain, and/or sourcing experience, incl. large-volume procurements and bid processes.
• Equivalent combination of education and related work experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• 70% Negotiates and procures high-dollar contracts, PO's, change orders and claims for major commodities.
• Drafts invitations to bid, RFPs and purchase contracts.
• Identifies compliance issues and recommends corrective action.
• 20% Contract management: analyzes contracts, evaluates cost, quality and delivery; monitors compliance.
• 10% Perform other duties as assigned.
