Job summary

New Concept Technology Inc. is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to secure materials, components, and services for efficient operations. You will lead supplier relationships, manage costs, and support cross-functional teams across Production, Planning, Quality, Engineering and Finance.

The role emphasizes independent decision-making, supplier performance management, and continuous improvement of procurement processes to drive cost savings and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent education and experience considered.
• 5+ years of procurement or related experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
• Strong knowledge of purchasing practices, supplier management and inventory principles.
• Experience negotiating pricing, terms, lead times, and supplier agreements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Create, review, and manage purchase orders based on production requirements and forecasts.
• Monitor open purchase orders and supplier commitments to ensure on-time delivery and specifications.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers; act as primary procurement contact.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, and other commercial terms.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Monitor supplier performance related to quality, delivery, pricing, and service.
• Collaborate with Quality and suppliers to resolve material and quality issues.
