Job summary

Eye-Designs-Group in Collegeville, PA seeks an experienced Purchasing Agent to oversee procurement of all materials and supplies for the entire organization. This is an experienced, individual contributor role reporting under limited supervision.

You will negotiate with major suppliers, manage inventory across warehouses, process orders and invoices, and ensure accurate data entry in the ERP system. A strong background in millwork or kitchen/bath sectors is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• ,
• Seven (7) or more years of experience in a purchasing role for a millwork, kitchen or bath organization with increasing level of responsibility over the duration of the position.
• ,
• Prior experience with Accounting/ERP software preferably Solomon.

Responsibilities

• Manage, inventory and order all supplies and materials for the entire organization.

• Negotiate contracts with major suppliers.
• ,
• Receive orders into the accounting system daily.
• ,
• Process all invoices and distribute supplies accordingly.
• ,
• Process work orders for the production of kits & sub-assemblies on the shop floor.
• ,
• Monitor supply inventory, ordering replenishments as necessary.
• ,
• Manage the transfer of inventory between warehouse locations.
• ,
• Place inventory in to proper locations within designated storage areas.
• ,
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
