Job summary

Eye Designs Group in Pennsylvania seeks an experienced Purchasing Agent responsible for procuring all materials and supplies for the organization, under limited supervision.

The role requires seven or more years in purchasing within millwork, kitchen or bath environments, plus proficiency with Solomon or similar ERP software and MS Office tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Seven (7) or more years of experience in a purchasing role for a millwork, kitchen or bath organization with increasing level of responsibility.
• Prior experience with Accounting/ERP software preferably Solomon.

Responsibilities

• Manage, inventory and order all supplies and materials for the entire organization.
• Negotiate contracts with major suppliers.
• Receive orders into the accounting system daily.
• Process all invoices and distribute supplies accordingly.
• Process work orders for the production of kits & sub-assemblies on the shop floor.
• Monitor supply inventory, ordering replenishments as necessary.
• Manage the transfer of inventory between warehouse locations.
• Place inventory in to proper locations within designated storage areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage, inventory and order all supplies and materials for the entire organization.
