Job summary

Lockheed Martin Enterprise Operations South East Material Acquisition Center (SEMAC) seeks an experienced Procurement Representative to acquire mechanical hardware for multiple programs and locations. You will manage supplier cost, schedule, and technical performance on mechanical components.

Responsibilities include bid package preparation, proposal analysis, PO placement and negotiations, and on-site work with LM functions.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited college in a related discipline or equivalent professional experience with specialized training commensurate with assignment
• Knowledge of acquisition policies and procedures such as FAR and DFAR
• Demonstrated ability to execute and peer review compliant procurement packages
• Ability to work autonomously and be accountable for all assignments
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency
• Experience placing and managing Purchase Orders in S4Hana, SAP, P2P, SC Nav, or similar
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills
• Ability to interact with management, suppliers, LM functions, and other personnel on significant matters
• Demonstrated business acumen and ability to make sound business decisions
• Ability to think outside the box and bring unique solutions
• Ability to multi-task while balancing strategic priorities
• Ability to work on-site

Responsibilities

• Select or recommend subcontractors.
• Prepare bid packages and analyze proposals.
• Perform price analysis, negotiations, PO documentation and placement.
• Hold procurement delegation and sign supplier agreements and POs within authority.
• Invoice reconciliation and payment.
• Negotiate and coordinate additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts.
• Coordinate with Program and LM functions on supplier and procurement matters.
• Develop solutions to complex problems with innovation and follow-through.
• Manage commodities with high purchase requisition volumes.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal customers.
• Support OneLM culture implementation.
