Job summary

Tree Market Inc. in Miami is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to source frozen proteins, staples, dry commodities, and traded products from domestic and international suppliers. You will negotiate terms, analyze costs, and manage end-to-end purchasing processes.

The ideal candidate has 2–5+ years in procurement, strong knowledge of landed costs, and fluency in English and Spanish. Travel may be required in this international role.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years in procurement, purchasing, trading, or supply chain.
• Proven experience sourcing and negotiating with international suppliers.
• Strong knowledge of landed-cost calculations and commercial terms.
• Experience with international shipping and import/export documentation.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Professional fluency in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate domestic and international suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, specifications, and delivery conditions.
• Analyze quotations, commodity prices, freight costs, and total landed costs.
• Manage purchase orders and contracts from confirmation through delivery.
• Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, warehouses, finance, sales, and operations.
• Monitor shipments and resolve delays, shortages, quality claims, and documentation issues.
• Ensure products meet quality, food-safety, import, and export requirements.
• Support inventory planning, purchasing forecasts, and cost-reduction initiatives.

We're looking for a Senior Procurement Specialist with deep experience sourcing frozen proteins, basic food staples, dry commodities, and internationally traded products from domestic and international suppliers.
