Job summary

ERIMAX is seeking a Procurement Specialist III to support the U.S. Department of Commerce with senior contractor-support duties throughout the acquisition lifecycle. You will work with Contracting Officers and program offices, develop and refine statements of work, evaluate proposals, and prepare award documentation.

The role requires 8+ years of experience, strong knowledge of FAR/CAR, and proficiency with federal procurement platforms. U.S.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in preparing grants, cooperative agreements, and inter-agency agreements (IAA).
• Strong knowledge of the FAR, small business and socioeconomic contracting programs, and applicable federal procurement policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of contracting methodologies, including strategic sourcing, BPAs, IDIQs, and task/delivery order contracting.
• Experience with federal acquisition systems and procurement platforms; knowledge of Comprizon and/or PRISM is preferred.
• Strong analytical, research, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience providing guidance, coaching, or mentoring to team members is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively with Contracting Officers, program offices, contractors, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Recommend resolution of issues related to non-compliance.
• Conduct source selection.
• Make contract awards, notify and debrief unsuccessful offerors.
• Prepare and process task and call orders against strategic sourcing vehicles and BPAs for Contracting Officer review and execution.
• Assist program offices with reviewing and refining statements of work, performance work statements, statements of objectives, and specifications.
• Prepare, develop, and process contract modifications for Contracting Officer review and execution.
• Evaluate quotations and proposals and prepare supporting acquisition documentation and recommendations.
• Support source selection activities, including proposal evaluation, documentation, and development of award recommendations.
• Prepare contract award documentation for Contracting Officer review and execution and support unsuccessful-offeror notifications and debriefings.
