Job summary

Dematic is seeking an Expert Procurement Project Lead to oversee procurement execution for the organization's most complex, strategic, and high-value customer projects. This role partners with Project Management, Engineering, and Finance to ensure successful project delivery.

The Expert PPL will develop and execute strategies to optimize outcomes, mitigate risk, and support business objectives, serving as a trusted advisor for procurement challenges across multiple functions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project-based procurement in automation or capital projects.
• Proven track record managing procurement for large-scale, complex customer projects.
• Expertise in supplier management, risk management, and project execution.
• Strong knowledge of project management principles and tools (CPM, risk heat maps).

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement delivery for complex, high-value projects.
• Develop project-specific procurement strategies aligned with objectives.
• Own procurement outcomes across scope, schedule, quality, cost.
• Drive cross-functional accountability with PM, Eng, Finance, Quality.
• Manage procurement risks and issue resolution for projects.
