Job summary

TriWest Healthcare Alliance seeks a Senior Buyer to lead procurements under FAR/DFARS, ensuring compliant pricing and timely awards. You will partner with Finance and leadership on accruals, and support ROMs, RFIs/RFPs, contracts, and licensing agreements as a subject matter expert.

You must be a U.S. citizen with 5+ years in procurement, strong negotiation skills, and experience with supplier relationships. The role supports DoD contracts and requires a favorable background investigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• U.S. Citizen.
• Must pass DoD background investigation.
• 5+ years in procurement with cost analysis, sourcing strategies, negotiations.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Experience with supplier relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and document pricing to identify drivers across vendors and subcontractors.
• Provide leadership with negotiating strategies and approvals.
• Negotiate lowest possible price with vendors and maintain documentation.
• Manage procurements and ensure timeliness of solicitations and awards.
• Track ROMs, quotes, orders, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Ensure alignment with FAR/DFARS and maintain procurement records.
