Job summary

The University of California, Office of the President, is seeking a Procurement Manager 2 to lead UCOP’s centralized procurement function. Based in Oakland with a 3 days/week hybrid schedule, you will shape strategy, drive service delivery, and manage a team of procurement professionals across all UCOP departments.

You will oversee high-value sourcing, supplier relations, and policy compliance, coordinating with executive leadership to deliver value and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible procurement experience.
• Ability to lead complex procurement programs and supervise staff.

Responsibilities

• Directs UCOP procurement program for ~80 departments with multi-year strategies.
• Leads complex, high-value procurements and contract negotiations.
• Manages executive relationships and ensures policy compliance across UCOP.
