Job summary

Bechtel Global Corporation in Houston, TX seeks a seasoned procurement leader to manage project procurement personnel, develop scope, plans, schedules, estimates, and budgets, and ensure compliance with contract requirements.

You will partner with Engineering, Construction and the project team to drive supplier management, risk mitigation and robust procurement procedures across large capital programs.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading procurement activities for large capital projects, including planning, sourcing, contract management, and supplier relations.
• Strong knowledge of procurement, commercial and contract management principles to manage risk and ensure compliance.
• Ability to coordinate with Engineering, Construction, Project Controls, Contracts and leadership to achieve objectives.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management with mentoring experience.

Responsibilities

• Defines and coordinates procurement plans, schedules, estimates and budgets with the project team.
• Directs procurement terms and conditions for project purchase documents.
• Coordinates input to business development proposals and interacts with global unit and corporate procurement.
• Develops and presents procurement procedures with management and ensures proper implementation.
