Extension is seeking a Senior Procurement Manager - Indirect Procurement for a Direct Hire opportunity with one of our clients located in Milwaukee, WI.

Key Objectives / Role Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies across a variety of indirect spend categories
• Lead sourcing activities from initial business requirements through supplier selection and implementation
• Manage competitive bid processes, supplier evaluations, negotiations, and contract development
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and develop effective procurement solutions
• Establish and maintain productive relationships with external suppliers and service providers
• Evaluate supplier performance, pricing, service levels, and overall value
• Identify and execute opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and spend optimization
• Support contract negotiations and help ensure appropriate commercial terms and service expectations
• Analyze spend, supplier, and market information to support sourcing decisions
• Identify and mitigate supplier and procurement-related risks
• Drive continuous improvement across sourcing and supplier management processes

Desired Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in indirect procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, supply chain, or a related field
• Demonstrated experience sourcing indirect goods and/or services
• Experience managing complex supplier and service-provider relationships
• Strong background in supplier negotiations, competitive sourcing, and contract management
• Proven ability to identify and deliver measurable cost savings and business improvements
• Experience partnering with stakeholders across multiple functions and levels of an organization
• Comfortable working within a large-scale or complex business environment
• Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with ERP, sourcing, procurement, or spend-management systems
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related discipline preferred

Salary Information

• $125,000 annually
