Lead transportation sourcing events and competitive bidding processes.
Develop category strategies to deliver value by achieving cost savings and improving quality and service levels.
Collaborate and engage across Global Logistics to identify requirements and align with business priorities.
Partner with internal leadership to define performance metrics and supplier objectives.
Incorporate diversity and sustainability into procurement as a standard practice.
Develop carrier relationships and capabilities to improve capacity and service levels.
Create multi-year cost improvement plan with spend data and forecasts.
Manage supplier relationships per SRM standards to drive improvements.
Coordinate with Planning and Logistics to optimize network storage and freight."
Engage procurement early in budgeting to meet financial goals and priorities.
