Job summary

Turner & Townsend in the United States is seeking an Associate Director for Procurement Management to lead procurement strategies for major energy projects, including utility-scale solar PV and BESS deployments in Florida. The role collaborates with project teams to balance risk, quality, cost, and schedule.

You will drive RFIs/RFPs, negotiate contracts, manage vendor relationships and report to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in procurement management for US BESS and/or utility-scale solar PV projects.
• Proven track record negotiating and managing BESS supply agreements, framework agreements, BoP and/or O&M scopes.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.
• Structured, methodical approach to work with ability to lead negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and execute procurement and tender strategies for major project packages.
• Lead the complete procurement process including RFIs, RFPs, evaluation and contract finalization.
• Draft and negotiate contracts including turbine supply, service, consultancy, supply and installation.
• Coordinate with commercial, technical, financial and legal teams while ensuring client governance.
