• Experience negotiating with vendors and managing supplier relationships is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee procurement activities, including program negotiations with manufacturers.
• Hire, train, coach, and counsel staff; drive department goals and profitability.
• Develop and execute annual procurement programs and marketing initiatives.
• Manage inventory levels to optimize cash flow and service levels.
• Improve purchasing strategies based on industry knowledge of the foodservice sector.
• Lead or support marketing/merchandising functions as needed.
