Job summary

Linesight is seeking a Senior Procurement Lead in Raleigh to lead end-to-end sourcing strategies for equipment and services in complex projects. You will align with client teams, evaluate bids, and drive supplier performance while mitigating risk.

The role requires a decade of procurement leadership in construction or EPC contexts, a related degree, and CIPS progression. It offers an opportunity to shape procurement practices and contribute to a diverse, dynamic team at Linesight.

Qualifications

  • 10 years of procurement leadership experience.
  • Experience in construction environments within pharmaceutical/medical device sectors or EPC oil & gas.
  • Degree in procurement or supply chain management.
  • CIPS certification or on the path to complete it.
  • Strong problem-solving with a commercial mindset.
  • Excellent communicator and relationship builder.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage equipment sourcing strategies from partner identification to on-site receipt of materials.
  • Monitor industry trends, identify gaps, and recommend actions to support the business.
  • Act as strategic partner with client technical teams to ensure alignment with strategies.
  • Lead bid evaluations and recommend awards based on market knowledge and value.
  • Gather market intelligence on prices, capacity, and supplier strategies.
  • Manage bids, contracts, and documents with legal and finance teams as needed.
  • Develop statements of work and SLAs for projects.
  • Monitor supplier performance and mitigate risks to ensure supply continuity.
  • Ensure procurement practices comply with all laws and stage-gate approvals.

Overview

The Opportunity
In this role you will:
  • Develop, implement, and manage equipment sourcing strategies, from identification of supply chain partners through to receipt of materials on site , including expediting of orders
  • Understands industry trends, identifies gaps & recommends actions to ensure support of Business
  • Act as a strategic partner and maintain alignment with business partners , including client technical teams to ensure ongoing support of the strategies agreed
  • Lead the decision-making process and make recommendations on awards based on your expert market knowledge
  • Gathers commodity- and product-specific market intelligence, including but not limited to price trends, industry capacity, and supplier strategies
  • Own the evaluation of bids to determine the best overall value, reviewing quotations and proposals against specifications and terms and conditions
  • Manage various bid requests and contract developments with rigorous attention to detail, partnering with legal and finance teams when needed
  • Develop statements of work, performance terms and Service Level Agreements for the project
  • Monitors and manages supplier performance. Ensures continuity of supply and risk mitigation activities.
  • Utilise client specific procurement systems and processes as required , ensuring compliance with all stage gate approvals
  • Review procurement practices on an ongoing basis to ensure compliance with relevant laws
  • Use your expert knowledge to identify and drive innovation in the procurement and supply chain process
We would love to hear from you if you:
  • Have grown your procurement experience over the last 10 years with increasing levels of leadership
  • Have experience in a construction environment within the pharmaceutical/medical device sectors or from an EPC background in the oil and gas sector
  • Have a degree in a procurement or supply chain management related discipline
  • Have a CIPS certification or are on the path to complete it. We can help
  • Have strong problem-solving skills and a commercial mindset to build balanced solutions and recommendations
  • Thrive on building positive relationships with your team and clients through a shared purpose and sense of openness and fun
  • Are an excellent communicator both verbally and in writing

All interviews are conducted either in person or virtually with video required.

The salary range for this role is between $108,000 to $145,067 but actual salary offered is dependent on experience, skill set and education.
