Job summary

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) seeks a Senior Expeditor to expedite procurement activities for an industrial construction project in the Newark area. You will monitor vendor progress, ensure on-time shipment of equipment and materials, and coordinate with logistics to support fabrication and site delivery.

The role requires 5+ years in procurement, strong communication, and ability to work independently on a project team.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred or experience in lieu of degree.
5+ years’ experience in procurement in an industrial construction environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication, organization skills, and ability to function within a project team.
Ability to prioritize multiple activities daily.
Strong computer skills including Excel and PowerPoint.
Fluent English proficiency; other languages a plus.

Responsibilities

Expedites purchase orders to monitor and manage vendor progress for timely shipments.
Expedites supplier engineering data and drawings per PO requirements.
Coordinates and monitors supplier milestones and purchasing activity to meet schedule.
