Job summary

Vistra Nuclear Operations Company is seeking a Procurement Engineer for Davis-Besse, OH. The role involves evaluating and applying generation technologies to improve plant performance and project commercialization. You will manage programs, analyze costs, and support plant operations with technical solutions.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in power-plant operations/engineering, strong communication, and ability to lead projects with some oversight. A PE license is preferred.

Qualifications

• BS or greater in an Engineering discipline.
• Licensed Professional Engineer or meets additional years of experience requirements.
• Proficient with technical evaluation processes.
• Proficient in fossil, solar, battery, or nuclear plant technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for development of commercial/environmental/reliability initiatives.
• Support operations in applying technologies at plants or in development.
• Perform root cause analysis and provide innovative solutions.
