Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC is seeking a Lead Procurement Engineer to lead end-to-end procurement for AP1000 projects in North America. You will manage sourcing, PO placement, supplier execution, delivery, and customer turnover while ensuring safety, quality, cost, schedule, and contractual requirements.

You will report to the Manager, APX WBS-7 Auxiliary Equipment and work hybrid out of Cranberry Township, PA, with possible travel to supplier facilities. Relocation is not provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or higher.
• 5+ years of experience delivering major technical design projects.
• PMI PMP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive localization to identify suppliers in North America for AP1000 projects.
• Develop and implement program management model to support global execution.
• Forecast performance and mitigate risks to meet safety, quality, and cost goals.
• Serve as primary project interface for delivery of components and equipment.
• Provide supplier strategy and procurement planning through evaluations and RFQ packages.
• Oversee training and mentor new hires engaged on customer projects.
