Senior Procurement Engineer

Responsible for leading procurement activities for Energy Systems, ensuring on‑schedule, on‑budget deliveries, and quality compliance. Oversees large‑scale Procurement Projects, coordinates with Global Supply Chain Solutions, and manages supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Approve Safety Related requisitions.
• Support development of procurement strategies and plans with Offer and Project Teams.
• Identify and capture demand, solicit suppliers, and maintain supplier communication.
• Execute sourcing strategies, coordinate RFx process, and establish sourcing strategies for suppliers and services.
• Solicit quotations, analyze contract proposals, negotiate pricing, delivery, terms, and conditions for complex material, equipment and component needs.
• Evaluate cost elements of commodity groups to identify cost improvements.
• Develop supplier base strategies to maximize cost/value and maintain market data.
• Manage supply and supplier commitments post‑PO, including change and contract management, and update SAP appropriately.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Aerospace, Chemical).
• 4+ years of procurement engineering experience with structural components.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.
• Experience with international sourcing and suppliers for nuclear projects; ASME NQA‑1 or ASME III preferred.
