Job summary

The City of Chandler is seeking a Procurement Officer Senior to lead advanced procurement activities, including developing specifications, managing competitive solicitations, and negotiating contracts for professional services, materials, and equipment. The role supervises paraprofessional staff and collaborates across departments.

The position is regular full‑time, with a 6‑month probationary period. After probation, there may be an opportunity to work remotely up to two days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Purchasing, Business Administration or related field.
• 5 years procurement experience across materials, equipment and services; 1 year in supervision.
• Equivalent combinations of experience and training acceptable.

• Manage competitive solicitations and evaluation processes.
