Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, law, finance, supply chain management, or a closely related field.
• At least two years of experience in procurement compliance, government auditing, contract administration.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local procurement laws, regulations, and ethics.
• Strong analytical and investigative skills.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory research and analysis of federal, state, and local procurement laws to keep the City compliant.
• Policy development and implementation of procurement standards and guidelines.
• Compliance monitoring and auditing of procurement transactions and contracts.
• Training and education of City staff on compliance requirements and best practices.
• Investigation and corrective action recommendations in response to compliance issues.
• Contract review and development to ensure regulatory compliance and favorable terms.
• Bid and proposal oversight to ensure fairness and transparency in procurement.
• Documentation and reporting of all compliance activities and outcomes.
• Process improvement and innovation to enhance efficiency while maintaining integrity.
